WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK TO THE GCCC SOON
Attendee and guest health and safety is the top priority of the ASM Global managed Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC). The GCCC has developed a comprehensive and sustainable cleaning, training, and safety guide to lead our reopening efforts and facility operation moving forward. The GCCC REOPENING AND SARS-CoV-2 MITIGATION PLAN has been crafted and informed by ASM’s VenueShield® program.
VenueShield is focused upon new environmental hygiene protocols and standards to meet evolving guest expectations and define the customer journey of the future as guests enter ASM Global’s 350 venues worldwide and our delivery of the highest standard of care. In creating this initiative, ASM Global has engaged and partnered with The Centers for Disease Control, National Institute of Health, United States Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
THERE ARE SIX CORE OPERATING PRINCIPLES
The GCCC is also pursuing Global Biorisk Advisory Council’s (GBAC) certification to provide guests confidence that the GCCC is clean and ready for business. GBAC is an independent third-party verification system to make sure that Greater Columbus Convention Center’s cleaning protocols meet the highest standards.
More detailed information, including the full GCCC RE-OPENING AND SARS-CoV-2 MITIGATION PLAN can be found in the GCCC re-opening plan document.
