(Columbus, June 19, 2017) — The SMG-managed Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) joins the Make Music Day celebration when the Live at Lunch entertainment series continues Wednesday, June 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the facility’s Discovery Café.
Performing will be local musician Andicus (Andy Kuss), whose musical influences include folk, jazz, blues, bluegrass, rhythm & blues, pop, grunge and classic rock.
Make Music Day was initiated 35 years ago in France and last year included more than 750 cities in 120 countries around the world participating.
Live at Lunch events are free of charge to attend and will be held indoors or outdoors, depending on weather conditions.
Guests may purchase lunch to enjoy during the performances at Discovery Café, which is located near the Arnold Plaza, just inside the facility’s west entrance along High Street. Discovery Café is composed of Homegrown Market, Columbus Grille, Crimson Cup and CBUS Tap Room and is operated by the GCCC’s exclusive caterer, Levy. Ample seating is available.
The GCCC plans to present Live at Lunch events on a monthly basis.
