(Columbus, May 31, 2017) — The SMG-managed Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) Live at Lunch entertainment series continues Thursday, June 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the facility’s Discovery Café.
Copacetic, a guitar/saxophone/keyboard trio, will perform a mix of jazz, gospel and soul. The band’s name is defined as “all is well” or ‘”everything is cool,” and the band’s goal is for listeners to leave a performance feeling the same way. The longtime friends formed the band in 2016 and expect to release their first album this year.
Live at Lunch events are free of charge to attend and will be held indoors or outdoors, depending on weather conditions.
Guests may purchase lunch to enjoy during the performances at Discovery Café, which is located near the Arnold Plaza, just inside the facility’s west entrance along High Street. Discovery Café is composed of Homegrown Market, Columbus Grille, Crimson Cup and CBUS Tap Room and is operated by the GCCC’s exclusive caterer, Levy. Ample seating is available.
The GCCC plans to present Live at Lunch events on a monthly basis.
