Public Welcome To Explore Three Vehicle Shows

(Columbus, February 9, 2017) — The SMG-managed Greater Columbus Convention Center will host three vehicle shows open to the public over the next two weekends – the Columbus RV Super Show, EasyRiders Bike Show and Summit Racing Equipment Hot Rod & Custom Car Show.

The Columbus RV Super Show, the only recreational vehicle show in Columbus, will be held Friday, February 10 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, February 11 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with admission charges of $10 for adults, under 16 admitted free and Good Sam Members for $5. Parking vouchers will be offered at the ticket office with presentation of a show ticket. The event will feature travel trailers, fifth wheels, motor homes, seminars, prizes and vendors ranging from Tom’s Toys to Camping World. There will be trucks, tow vehicles, golf cart equipment and Marvel costumed characters on Saturday and Sunday. Spider Man will appear from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days, with Captain America appearing from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The EasyRiders Bike Show returns February 11-12 with custom motorcycles vying for a chance to be featured in magazines and win prizes in 19 categories. Guests can meet the Purrfect Angelz entertainers, Jason Wilson of Discovery Channel’s Sacred Steel Bikes, Michael Ballard and announcer Lisa Ligon and see drift trike demonstrations from NTC Drift Trikes. Show hours are Saturday, February 11 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with tickets sold at the site. Admission for adults is $25 Saturday, $20 Sunday and $35 for weekend passes, with active military personnel receiving $5 off regular admission. Kids ages 6-12 are admitted for $10, with ages 5 and under admitted free.

The Summit Racing Equipment Hot Rod & Custom Car Show will be held February 17-19 and feature more than 300 awards, including best restored vehicle, best bike, best rod, best truck, best street machine and best custom. Sanctioned by the International Show Car Association, the show will be open Friday, February 17 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, February 18 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, February 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; general admission is $16, $6 for kids ages 6-12, and free for ages 5 and under.

The Greater Columbus Convention Center, located in downtown Columbus, hosted an estimated 2.5 million visitors in 2016. The facility is owned by the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority and is managed by SMG.
