USA VOLLEYBALL OPEN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RETURN FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2000
Who: USA Volleyball
What: 90th USA Volleyball Open National Championships
When: May 24-29, 2019; Wave 1 activity 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wave 2 from 3-9 p.m.
Where: Greater Columbus Convention Center
Why: This is USA Volleyball’s longest-running event. USA Volleyball is the National Governing Body for the sport of volleyball in the United States and is recognized by the Federation Internationale de Volleyball and the United States Olympic Committee.
How: Players from age 18 to 80, including Paralympians, will compete on 485 teams of 10-12 players each. The tournament was previously held in Columbus in 2000.
