FIRST COLUMBUS GIN & VODKA FESTIVAL TO BE HELD AUGUST 19

(Columbus, August 15, 2017)  — The new Columbus Gin & Vodka Festival will make its debut on Saturday, August 19 at the SMG-managed Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) in Exhibit Hall B.

“We’ll have vendors, a photo booth and a variety of brands of gin and vodka. We’ll offer half-ounce samples and cocktails with the product already mixed in,” said Vanessa Frost, the event coordinator. “The VIP event will have a flair bartender and small appetizers.”

The event will enable attendees to sample from among 100 of the world’s best gins and vodkas throughout the evening.

All attendees must be age 21 or older and present valid identification for admission.

Ticket packages are:

  • VIP admission for $65, which provides admission from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., 15 tokens for beverage samples, and VIP lounge access with appetizers.
  • General admission tickets are $45 and include admission from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., with 12 beverage tokens, displays to explore and the opportunity to talk with brand representatives.
  • Designated driver tickets cost $20 and do not include drink tickets.

“It is always exciting to host a new event, and we look forward to the Columbus Gin & Vodka Festival being as successful as the beer fests and wine events we host,” said GCCC General Manager John R. Page.
