Why: The 11th annual premier autism and disabilities conference in the nation, attracting attendees from eight countries

- About 2,000 people will gather to learn, visit the expo and listen to inspiring speakers
- Patrick Henry Hughes, a musician born without eyes and unable to fully straighten his arms and legs, has become an author, speaker and subject of the 2015 film “I am Potential” and will speak at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
- Thursday, Nov.16 speaker at 9:45 a.m. is Dr. Peter Vermeulen, co-director of a training and education center in Belgium focusing on autism spectrum disorders
- OCALICON exhibits in Hall C will be free and open to the public from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15
