NATION’S PREMIER AUTISM & LOW INCIDENCE CONFERENCE TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 14-16

What: OCALICON 2018 featuring Special Education Leadership Institute

When: November 14-16, 2018

Where: Greater Columbus Convention Center

Why: The 12th annual premier autism and disabilities conference in the country, attracting more than 2,700 attendees from seven countries and 41 states

How: For the first time, the Special Education Leadership Institute has joined OCALICON. The exhibit hall will be free and open to the public Wednesday, November 14 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit hall will be open to conference attendees from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. November 14, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. November 15 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. November 16. A Local Marketplace will feature the best of Columbus on November 16 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be more than 240 educational sessions, ranging from school climate to equity and inclusion. Keynote speakers include Dr. Christopher Gillburg of the University of Gothenburg Sweden on November 14 at 9:45 a.m. and Dr. Bill East of the National Association of State Directors of Special Education at 9:45 a.m. on November 15.
