EXOSKELETON WORKSHOP TO BE AMONG HIGHLIGHTS OF OHIO SAFETY CONGRESS & EXPO

Why: This free event assists businesses in ensuring their employees remain safe, healthy and productive by learning to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses, achieve better outcomes for injured associates, minimize injury claims and retain optimal occupational safety and health.

How: The Ohio Safety Congress & Expo is the largest and longest established occupational safety, health and workers’ compensation event in the country, featuring 275 exhibitors and a pre-registration so far of 8,500 attendees. In addition to keynote speakers and Safety Innovation Awards, there will be hundreds of educational sessions. The Expo Marketplace and Safety Innovator Displays will be open Wednesday, March 7 from 8 am. – 4 p.m. and Thursday, March 8 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. A popular highlight will be the industrial exoskeleton workshop March 9 which will focus on demonstrating these wearable devices designed to augment worker activities, reduce stress on the body, and minimize fatigue and discomfort.

The Ohio Workers’ Compensation Medical & Health Symposium March 8-9 provides an opportunity to learn from experts in the fields of neuropsychology, pharmacology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, alternative medicine, orthopedic surgery and other topics with more than 700 expected to attend.
