Sports Weekend at GCCC



(Columbus, February 4 , 2021)  — The Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) will feature a full house of sporting events this first weekend of February, with volleyball, cheerleading, dance, and aerobic step classes taking center stage. Returning events to the GCCC include Ohio Valley Regional Volleyball, Americheer, and McCray Fitness. New to the GCCC will be The Spirit Championships and ID Dance Competition. In continuing with the theme of sports, visitors and guests can enjoy watching the Winter Olympics inside the South Café & Marketplace.


“We are excited to team up with all of the sporting events this weekend and love the incredible energy coming to the GCCC from the visitors and guests. The GCCC is a prime location for sporting competitions and events and we look forward to safely hosting these athletes, coaches and spectators, both this weekend and throughout the year ahead,” said GCCC General Manager John R.
