WORLD’S LARGEST PRO/AM BALLROOM DANCING EVENT RETURNS TO GREATER COLUMBUS CONVENTION CENTER & HYATT REGENCY THIS WEEK
Who: Ohio Star Ball
What: 41st Ohio Star Ball Ballroom Championships
When: November 13-18, 2018
Where: Greater Columbus Convention Center (beginning November 16 in Battelle Grand and the Union Station Ballroom) and Hyatt Regency Columbus
Why: This is the largest professional/amateur ballroom dancing competition in the world.
How: Thousands of dancers from youth to seniors will compete in a variety of styles leading to the grand finale of the Best of the Best Challenge. Joining other dance legends performing at Ohio Star Ball will be Tony Dovolani and Elena Grinenko. Musical performers include Taylor Dayne (“Tell It to My Heart”) on November 16 and 17. Nia Franklin, Miss America 2019, will sing “God Bless America” on November 17. More than 40 vendors will be selling dresses, dancewear and accessories.
